We tackled him another 7-8 times last night--as a Raid group! I'd read in the comments on WoWHead this was possible, so we did it. Our awesome resto Druid healed the raid, and with only one or two of us really familiar at all with raiding, we lost a couple people, but those were the only deaths all night--except the Level 41 warrior we brought in to get a broom. He also got the level 1 cloth hat.

But the highlight of the evening was our next-to-last pull: The Helm of Evil Laughter dropped, much to the delight of our warrior tank. We also got a squashling pet on that drop, which went to our aggro-stealing balanced Druid ("I can't help it if I crit for 31...hundred!"). The Witching Band also dropped, and that went to our semi-healadin, much to her delight. And finally...(remember, all of this is the same pull!), the Magic Flying Broom! As I already had the Swift Magic Broom, I asked to be sure no one had a problem if I rolled on the flier. The point was made the flier is only usable in Outlands, so yeah, Osprey, go ahead and roll. *blush* I rolled 100. Of course, I can only dream of being that lucky on something that lasts more than 2 weeks.

We'll be going back tonight: We still have another warrior and a pally or two who want the helm (that thing is hilarious!), and of course would be nice to get some more good brooms.

The Horseman be a wicked fun fight. I've helped bring the bugger down some seventeen times so far, and it's been fun every time. Gettin' hard ta find a pug, now that most of the rogues and healers and casters got they rings, but I'm gonna keep doggin' him till he clears out at the end of the month. It's that much fun, I finds. And who knows - maybe I'll get a squashling pet to go with me broom and Helf of Evil Laughter.

Grats on yer loot so far Kestrel, and lucks to Talonis.
