So much to do, so little time…

Author’s Note: No real substance here; feel free to skip this one.

I really need some focus, or something. I’m trying to get my Hunter, Talonis, through the Netherstorm quests so he can head to the Shadowmoon Valley. And I would like to clean up a few things in Netherstorm with Osprey, my Priest, so he too can clean up in SV. Talonis, at least, is soloable. But Osprey, while I can solo with him, is almost as slow at killing stuff as a Paladin. That’s just not fun.

In the meantime, I’m trying to make some money with Falken, my miner/jewelcrafter, but it seems like it takes forever to do a mining run anymore (and things aren’t selling that well in the AH, either). Plus, a guildmate is working hard to get her Warlock to 50 so she can advance her jewelcrafting, and I’ve been helping with that when she’s available (which is fine, because it’s allowing me to raise up my third hunter, Peregrine).

Oh yeah…and there are instances to do, too. (Underbog tonight, for instance, for some alts in the guild, including Falken.)

And I want to write more here, too–but when I’m at work, that keeps interfering, and when I’m home, I’m trying to play more. So last weekend, my planned article on the Prat add-on got postponed (and I feel badly about that–I would really like to get the Add-On of the Week column back on schedule).

The weekly blogger’s digest is easy…that’s the only thing that seems to be going as planned. But I’d also like to get an article of substance posted during the week. Trouble is…I’ve no clue what I want to write about. Guess that’s writer’s block, eh?

And finally, next week I’ll be out of town for three days, at a conference in Chicago for company supervisors. I’d really prefer to stay home, but it’s one of those things where I can’t come up with a good reason not to go. Besides, now I’m giving a short presentation on a program we have going on here. More joy.

Now that I have spent the past several paragraphs feeling sorry for myself, I am going to hope for a cathartic effect and see if I can be more productive for a bit.
