Is your server like mine? The Trade Channel is the new General Chat. I swear I lose brain cells reading the dreck written by twinks, arena/BG player (if there’s a difference) and people in general comparing epeens. It’s a synthesis of the "expert" opinions rendered by no-nothings on the official boards. (Expert (n): Ex = has-been; spurt = drip under pressure.)
I need an add-on that limits received chat on Trade to lines beginning with "LF", "WTS", "WTB" and "WTT". Everything useful on that channel can start with one of those abbreviations. "LF rogue to open Eternium Lockbox, in SW, will tip." "WTT my Primal Nether for your 100g and mats for *insert item here*. Please? Someone?

My thoughts on the constant Trade Channel banter sort of vary, depending on the banter and on my mood. One day for about a half hour, trade channel was *completely spammed* with people spouting off the names of random movies, replacing one of the words in the title with “Murloc”: “Dances with Murlocs”, “Gone with the Murloc”, “Star Wars: The Phantom Murloc”, etc. And I gotta admit… it made me giggle.

On Arthas, we had the same thing only it was with people replacing random words in every sentence with a link to Skullflame Shield… for like 3 weeks. >..<
See, that would be great. But when someone asks for an enchant on a sword, and half a dozen others wonder why a hunter would want to use THAT sword… (never considering for a moment the sword may not be for the hunter)…well, you get my drift.
Yeah i know what you are talking about on Velen the trade channel is ridiculous just people bitching at eachother and hardly trying to trade or sale anything.
Trade channel on my server has gotten to the point where I hate to be in a city…its always Chuck Norris this, or Chuck Norris that…We have one person who is a JC and he has all these “ads” he makes. Its gotten so annoying, he in on the ignore list on all my toons!
I fully agree with you on this, the Trade channel is gone down hill. Like I told some people aruging on it yesterday.

They tried to come back slamming me for quoting something so old, to which I told them all your doing is proving my point and even though a quote is old does not make it any less true.
I truly feel your pain about this one.
