I was really hoping to relate the tale of our latest excursion to Shadow Lab or Old Hillsbrad today, but unfortunately, our tank was held up at work last night so we decided we didn’t really have the time to do either place justice; however, they’re on tap for tonight and/or Saturday.
We did take the tank’s 60 Healadin and his SPriest wife through Ramparts (70 Warrior & Frostie, my 68 Hunter completed the group). Two semi-usable pieces of gear dropped (one each for the Pally & Priest), and the dragon and his rider both died within a second of each other. I just love pouring massive amounts of sustained ranged DPS into that big wyrm!
On the downside, it’s been a very busy week at work and will be so through most of next week as well. On Monday & Tuesday, our site manager was off-site, so I was filling in, which means a million and one interruptions. That means I get behind in blogging–both reading AND writing. Managed to get a couple things up, obviously, but I’d prefer to put up meatier content.
The rest of the week, I’ve been busy designing counseling forms, reviewing annual performance reviews, and developing the PowerPoint presentation for our team meetings next week. On top of all that, I need to get the manager’s monthly newsletter put together by the end of next week, and that always requires a BUNCH of research to present a lot of our call center metrics.
A lot of the free time I have had, has been spent on the forums over at Blog Azeroth. Wow! What a great, dynamic group of bloggers the WoW community has! Seriously, if you’re at all interested in blogging–WoW-related or not–head on over and take a look. There are already a couple metric tons of pure blogging goodness posted, and more daily.
I knew there were a lot of WoW bloggers, but I’m seeing so many more people over there I never had a clue about (and others I was aware of, but simply haven’t had the time to read). I wish I could figure out a way to turn this hobby into gainful employment!
With luck, I’ll have a report this weekend on an exciting 5-man instance run, and I still have a couple (dozen) add-ons to highlight for you. So as we head into another weekend, here’s hoping all your rolls are 100s and your drops are epic!
