The interface of chardev is something that took me days to design, it’s really hard to show everything and arranging it neatly. I know there should be something like a help/first steps/howto but as a developer i prefer spending the time in developing instead in documentating, so thank Kastrel for writing this

The calculation discrepancies you mentioned are basically caused by my limit understanding of all classes, it’s just too much to know (and i don’t really want to!), that’s the point where i need the feedback of all the people knowing more than me.

So, thanks for the article really appreciate any critiques.

Nice find. I’m a big fan of warcrafter.net but this is definitely a solid contender.

I have a feeling that we’ll see these types of character profilers coming from the big database sites soon (WoWhead, Thottbot, WoWDB).

You’re welcome. I agree: There isn’t a lot of guidance, so I spent a bit of time clicking here and there. I’m still not 100% comfortable with the site, but I certainly believe it has a lot of utility now, which should only increase going forward.
