First things first: I’m going to try to make this a weekly (Friday) feature. No guarantees, stated or implied. However, since I think I’m on a roll (2 weeks in a row!), we’ll see how it goes. My intent is to feature a blog I’ve added to my blogroll in the past week. These won’t be long articles: I want you to go read the other blog (well, then come back here if you’ve missed something during the week).
This week’s featured blog is generic hunter blog #3412. No, really: That’s the title of the blog! Frankly, I prefer the name in the URL, but that may just be me.
Alysha Anj is a BM Hunter—what…so I have a prejudice for Beast Masters (and Mistresses)?—with a warlock alt named Anj Alysha. (There is also Caitlin, the rogue, who is apparently a bit neglected.) She describes herself as a "single purple night elf female against a whole world. of warcraft."
On her About page, she cautions her blog is not a BigRedKitty clone. That’s mighty fine with me; I like variety in my Hunter blogs! She also declares,
My headlines will occasionally be, at best, tangential. I like references that only a handful of people are going to get. Be confused, be very confused, but don’t be scared. Hush, my child. It’s not that important.
Well, I may not get all of them, but I did get a kick out of the Lesley Gore reference in it’s our party and we’ll cry if we want to.
In general, Anj’s writing is light, witty, and very conversational. It’s the perfect sort of blog to catch up with on a Saturday morning before a day spent grinding mats for raid consumables: Chances are it’ll put a smile on your face that grinding won’t.

Thanks for the mention, I can’t think why my little experience blog (because the maths makes my head cry) got to be featured but it made my day all the same.
Just a couple of things though: Kind of unoffically-offically the blog is called Heroine Chick but I go back and forth on the quality of the pun there. I’ve been trying ways to get the title into the masthead graphic but not found a pretty enough font yet. Also, Alysha is the warlock and Anj is the hunter but that’s just a minor thing.
