Since starting the blog, I’ve always had the priest. But back then, I thought Rogue/Hunter were my characters. Then I found out that while Rogues are sexy, I simply can’t manage the buttons required to play one effectively in a group. Oh, I’ve had my moments, but realistically…no.

So, Hunter/Priest…pretty much ever since discovering Ego and BRK, among others. It’s taken me several months, but now I know my true calling. But my ears will always perk at the sound of a finely tuned bowstring.

I find interesting and cool that several well known bloggers have changed their focus or changed who their “main” is.

BBB Druid/Hunter
GLDC Hunter/Priest
KA Hunter/Priest
etc

The quality of the writing will remain the same, but we get to see different subjects being addressed. Pretty darn cool.

Something I’d be interested to hear more about from the perspective of a person who plays on both sides of the fence: what are the little things that healers notice in their DPS teammates.

Are there small details, beyond the basic “get out of the fire” or “that hunter’s pet just peeled a mob off of me”, that help make a DPS player shine in the eyes of the healing corps?

Alas, I also feel you. For once a mighty Boom Chicken I have also given into the shift, and higher calling of healing. And speaking of Loken, I just headed H HoL and after the DPS got their act together we downed him. ^_^ The trick to Loken is honestly, in being a Druid... Wild Growth, Rejuvenation, and Lifebloom. WG because it's an AoE insta-cast, and the other two because they are insta as well. I also have a .9 sec Healing Touch, so it's nice and spiffy too. Otherwise it's Holy Nova or CoH. That’s true, Siha. I like both 10- and 25-mans. I’d like to see us do both, rather than one or the other. But…that’s me.

And…looks like we’ll be picking up a half-dozen seasoned raiders from a folded guild in the next day or so…so I’m going to guess we’ll see 25-mans fairly quickly.

"My fear is we’ll start doing 25-man Naxx before we get everyone geared up via the 10-mans." - FWIW, I'm fairly sure that Naxx-25 is artificially easy _because_ they don't want a 25-man guild to have to gear up via 10-mans first. In fact, the germ of a hunter post is starting to form, after reading some comments over at The Hunter’s Mark. I haven’t done a good. old-fashioned rant in…well, a LONG time!
