Thanks to Anna at Too Many Annas for the heads up on this scam. This particular one appears to be fairly sophisticated, as documented extensively at World of Snarkcraft and Blessing of Kings.
The details provided at World of Snarkcraft, especially, are cautionary: The email address used was one used ONLY by the blog for administrative purposes, not the address associated with any WoW account. The preliminary conclusion drawn at Snarkcraft, with which I agree, is that these particular phishers may be targeting WoW bloggers. At Blessing of Kings, you can read the entire email, which advises the recipient about an account suspension.
Word to the wise: ANY TIME you receive an email purportedly from Blizzard (or any other online entity, such as your bank or insurance company, for example, DO NOT CLICK ANY LINKS in the email. Instead, log into the site and go to your account settings. Anything you would be emailed about, will be found there as well. Financial institutions generally have a “Messages” link or something similar. If in doubt, phone the customer service department.

According to some of the talk in BA Chat this morning, this scheme isn’t brand-new, or may be a follow-up to one that took place a month ago.
