Just a note to my loyal readers (and anyone else who stumbles across the Aerie), I’m leaving for the airport in about 90 minutes to fly to California. The memorial service for my mother-in-law will be a week from Saturday, and Mrs. Kestrel and I will be returning to South Dakota on Tuesday the 17th (Happy St. Patrick’s Day!).
I’ll have the MacBook Pro with me, so I’m hoping to be able to get a short article or two posted up, but no promises. I suspect my wife and sister-in-law will be keeping me busy with “stuff.”

A note about weather: It was 68 here on Tuesday; 58 on Wednesday. Yesterday, I don’t think it hit 48, and if the temperature breaks 35 today I’ll be surprised. There’s a chance of snow in the next few days, and next Monday/Tuesday, the forecast calls for highs in the 20s. I think I’m going to start lobbying Mrs. K about a permanent return to our home state.

Ugh. I hadn’t checked a forcast recently. Guess I won’t need to. Heavy coat all weekend long. Yesterday was fun. Went to class at BH wearing a light jacket and walked out to it snowing… but then, this is Spearfish!
May your trip hold all the good memories, and the embarassing ones too. Just remember all the good times instead of what now stands before you.
Eh, up here it’s finally warming up! Some poeple may hate all the mud, but I’m just rejoicing that I don’t need a coat.
As for read a new blog or two, I don’t think my blogroll can fit any more blogs. Wait, scratch that. There’s always room, just not enough time to read them.
