Another naming convention, from my first character (sadly gone to someone-else-land when I quit forever…hahaha) – Well, I named it after a place I’d been recently that I was impressed with, the ruins of Old Sarum somewhere in England. So Sarum was my rogue, and then variations of that name – Sarumian, Sharum one drunken night, Muras all came of that one original decision. Other toons are named after book characters, composers, or one pseudolatin warlock (should have been a priest really, but gnomes can’t…) – Gnomendomini (the Gname of the Lord)

My current naming scheme revolves around my love of a particular football team – I’ve named each of my toons since this scheme started after two of my favourite players (at least until I ran out of names that sounded good). So Chapman and Rooke become Chapooke, and his pet cat is Mooney + Ablett, Moonlet.
Harley + Ling = Harling
Bartel + Selwood = Barwood
Scarlett and Hawkins, Scarhawk. I think they’ve turned out sounding ok.

My three old mains: Khol, Mordock and Lotos…well…

Khol: Long ago and far away there was this little game called BattleTech…Khol Drake was one of my mechwarriors Black Skull Battalion. I made it originally just because it sounded cool. Khol became my rogue mostly because it sounds like a very rogue-y name.

Mordock: Less long ago, but still far away, I needed a name for a brash, loudmouth warrior. He was originally intended to be a throwaway character for a storytelling project I was working on, but he worked out so well, he stuck around for a very long time. As it happens, Mordock is my warrior and maintains the same brash, loud, hard-drinking, hard-fighting everyman sort of personality he’s had since day one.

Lotos: I make no apologies, I fully stole Lotos’ name from an old, little-known game called Meat Puppet. Lotos Abstraction is one of the coolest names in the history of ever. In the game, Lotos is on a one-woman killing spree with a really big gun. Consequently, Lotos’ incarnation in my roster is a gun-happy hunter.

Introducing…Iriandra: Iriandra is my newest main (bringing the total to four) and she takes her name from, well, the random name generator was kind.

Hi there,
My first and my main, Amonrana, a hunter, got a random name from blizzard her cat named Temper ’cause she’s got a bad temper.

My priest(shadow) named Trymeyes (read “Try Me Yes”)from a randy type elf I played in d&d paper game, Yeah I know he’s a dwarf…heh heh

My lock, Moedots, well….’cause everyone says “moedots, moedots”. and she’s affliction

My rogue, Delthjr, Death and stealth and he’s a short Gnomie
hence the JR

Oh yeah, I also run with Oyesnake in real life and in game.
