Virginia M. Krouss, February 29, 1928 – March 4, 2009

Thank you so much for letting be a part of your wonderful life for the last 37 years. Thank you for giving your beautiful daughter to me. I promise to keep taking good care of her for the next 37 years, or more. God bless you, Mom, and rest well.

I just wanted to thank everyone who’s commented here and on Twitter for their messages of condolence and good wishes. I’m in California now, and we’re all in very good spirits. We’ve scheduled a celebration of Mom’s life for a week from today, and while I’m sure some tears will be shed then (including, no doubt, some of my own), Mom had a wonderful life and loving friends and family who will be having a lot of good memories to share.
