If you don’t read Jessika the Tank, who fancies herself “Pretty in Plate” (and who am I to disagree??), you should. She got on her soapbox today, and I am going to join her there. And oh-by-the-way, the three words are not, “You have aggro.”
Jess addressed three all-too-common words we see in WoW, her distaste for those words, and did so much more eloquently than I could. However, because I agree with her so strongly, I’m going to echo her sentiments here.
Retarded. Fag. Rape.
Are any of those in your in-game lexicon? If they are, I suggest you lose them. Or continue being a loser. Because if I hear them from you, you will have aggro.

All to be said on that one.

My raidleader uses the term “Rape him” against bosses when he really means “DPS all you can”.
I cringe every time I hear it.
You have nothing to lose by telling him (privately; no need to make a public spectacle of it) that you’d appreciate it if he’d find a different phrase. Chances are, your raid doesn’t need to be told when to blow cooldowns; however, that’s generally how our RL communicates the same thing: “Blow all cooldowns, max DPS.”
