I had decided before 3.1 came I would use it as a time to make some gold and so I had put aside a ton of stuff and have been making a nice profit. As the AH cools down I hope to check into some of the other aspects you mentioned like the tournaments.

As for duel spec, meh I really like arcane and I’m an old woman who is a creature of habit. My mind can’t handle 2 specs. It certainly has helped with our raiding though. We can usually pull together 25 people from our guild to raid but seems always short a healer or tank. So yes, duel spec is definately a blessing. One of our priests has chosen Disc as her off spec from holy and has been LOVIN it.

When we killed them, the Unquenchable Flames jumped from our Pally OT to our mage and back (the only two still standing), finally killing the mage. It appeared to do damage each time the pally tried to heal himself; I finally told him to rez me and I’d keep him healed (not thinking, of course, that the flames would jump to me and kill me immediately!).

He seemed to take less damage if he didn’t cast, so he let his health build up, then started to rez me…and the debuff went away. So I don’t know if it has a static timer, or if it finally figured out the fight was over. But it did go away, without him having to quench it in the water. OTOH, he’s a pally; anyone else probably would have been killed, as the mage was.

Those Magma Ragers are unreal. So far they cannot be banished or trapped. Not holding out a lot of hope for roots or cylcone, either. So far the best bet seems to be to tank the second one at the bottom of the ramp while killing the first one near the top so that the raid has room to run.

And I’m not sure Razorscale has a “Don’t stand in X” rule I couldn’t avoid the damn stuff!!

Hadn’t seen that mace, but since our chances of doing Naxx 25 through KT anymore seem rather slim, I’m hopeful I’ll get lucky when we get Raz (and I don’t mean Razuvious!) down.

Sorry if I seemed distracted last night: I kinda got drafted to build a raid, when we didn’t really have a build, and a couple guildies were pissing me off. ‘Nuff said on that, this is a No-Drama Zone.

The dual spec, for a priest healer has been FANTASTIC. Tank healing, go disc. AOE damage/raidhealing, Go COH. I love being that flexible… it ALMOST makes me feel like a hybrid (shhh don’t tell the druids)

I think Euripides is talking about Unquenchable Flames(?).. it’s a debuff that comes from the big Magma Giants outside Ignis’ room. It’ll jump from person to person til you jump in water, even while fighting the things that spawn those fire tornado thingies. And Ignis himself is still buggy, so you’ll either kill him with awesome RNG luck or cry.. a lot.

I like Ulduar a lot so far! We were feeling frisky and decided to do Flame Levi on full bore hardmode. We only ended up leaving one tower up at the end, but the graphic show w/ all four up is pretty amazing! Like techno rave bumper cars. Apparently everyone forgot the important ‘don’t stand in the X’ rule for Razoscale last night, so once everyone remembers that tonight I’m excited for some giant robot action.

Btw, have you seen the mace that drops off Razorscale 25? It’s the Torch of Holy Fire’s slightly bigger sister. I’m glad to see there’s more weapon options out there now.

We tried a couple more bosses in 10-man last night because we didn’t have a build for 25. Ouchies. REALLY need to have a Resto Shammy or Druid, rather than 3 holy priests. And I need to STOP STANDING IN STUFF!
